Senior Technical Sound Designer

What you will do:

  • Design world class audio content with deep knowledge of implementation in WWISE, FMOD and other audio middleware
  • Integrate audio assets within Unity via WWISE and other audio middleware
  • Implement audio in Unity without the use of middleware on certain projects
  • Work on multiple projects using both Perforce and Git to check in clean and shippable code
  • Be nimble in switching from one type of project to another on a daily basis

You Have:

  • Excellent Sound Design skill set and actual game experience with multiple different styles from casual games to AAA FPS.
  • 5+ years of on the job experience game audio
  • Strong programming experience – with knowledge of C# Scripting and Object Oriented programming
  • Worked on teams using both Perforce and Git
  • Thorough understanding of Unity IDE and have worked on multiple shipped Unity projects
  • Worked with latest (2021) versions of WWISE and understand Unity Addressable support thoroughly
  • A minimum of five titles shipped as Technical Sound Designer, the more the better!
  • WWISE fluency – music systems, mixing, profiling and memory optimization
  • Complete understanding of Pro Tools
  • Experienced with most industry standard tools (Izotope, Pro Tools, Reaper, etc…)
  • Solid grasp of broadcast and mix specifications
